I did worse than expected but my firm still accepted me so happy days
Hey, Zantu! Congratulations on getting your place at your firm choice! That's brilliant news. It can be tough when you don't get the results you expected, but ultimately your hard work has paid off and your next chapter is about to begin, so you should be super proud of yourself 😀 If you want any tips on getting ready for university, remember to check out Student Space! Wishing you the very best 🧡 - Nicola

How to look after your mental health over Results

In BTEC Applied Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care Double Award (2 A-Levels) I was predicted MM (MERIT MERIT) and I achieved DM (DISTINCTION MERIT) and so I exceeded my predicted grade. In WJEC Criminology Level 3 Applied Diploma my overall grade was predicted a C, however I also exceeded my predicted grade as I was awarded a B by WJEC. This is a real surprise as throughout my A-Levels I had an undetected and undiagnosed health issue which I sorta knew about as I had been feeling sluggish, grotty etc but now I know what that health issue is and have been diagnosed and being treated, I also experience seizures which affect my mood, concentration, awareness and memory so I forget a lot of stuff within a short space of time and miss verbal information due to short seizures so I'm over the moon with my results.

So good to hear you're pleased with your results and exceeded your expectations even while facing some uncertainty. You should be very proud of yourself!
Missed my firm by 13 marks (circumstances beyond my control), but silver lining as I'd meet their (lowered) grade requirements if I took a foundation year and reapplied. Might end up not bothering and taking my insurance anyway since it looks far more appealing to me now. Other than that, grades were pretty fine. Happy days all around 😁

Bit late to the party, but wanted to share my experience to help others who are worried about missing their offer in the future, as I know I was. Firm was Imperial, MEng Biomedical Engineering, A*AA. Got ABB due to mental health struggles the past 2 years. Imperial instead offered an alternative course, BSc Biomedical Technology Ventures, which also required A*AA! Very surprised but happy they still accepted me.
Also, my insurance was Uni of Sheffield, BEng Biomedical Engineering, AAB. They guaranteed me a place if Imperial rejected me, despite just missing their offer too.
I did worse than expected, I was predicted AAA and doing great in all my tests and mocks and I came out with BBC but I got into university!
I did better than I expected, but considering what I had to go through on that course I'm not sure if it was worth it. 😀

Managed to get an A in physics (one mark off an A* but I won't bother remarking) with A*s in maths, further maths and chemistry so I can go to UCL (my first choice university) to study Physics and Astrophysics.
