getting confirmation into university via clearing

so I got verbal conformation from university of Leicester for computer science and they said they would also give an email conformation too but I haven't received it yet, does anyone know how long it takes to get one? also, it says that I can only apply to universities after 1pm so is there a small possibility by 1pm that all of the spaces for the course can be full or something? or am I already guaranteed a place at the university now?

You can't add any universities on clearing until 1pm, nobody can, the spaces will not be taken by someone else
did Leicester tell you how long they will give you to consider their offer?

no they didnt say how long they would consider my offer for but im going to apply to the university the moment the clock strikes 1pm but is it already confirmed now that I have been accepted to university of leicester

Usually they say that if you haven't confirmed the place by X date and time (possibly tomorrow, possibly later, depends on the course) then they will release the place back into the available pool.
But for now that place is YOURS
