NMT to MT?

Hi, I had to complete a paper form due to previously having done my PGCE. I filled my details, my partner did his etc so assumed this would be a Means Tested Application. My application is still being processed.

However, upon logging in there is a little window which says: 'To change your application to be based on your household income you need to complete the NMT to MT form. You can find this form by clicking on the ‘Change your application’ link below, followed by ‘Apply for a Maintenance Loan’.' I am confused, I thought I did apply for a MT maintenance loan.

Hi there. Did you receive an email regarding this (please check your spam and junk folder)? Thanks, Leah.

Thank you for responding. No, I have received no emails other than you have received evidence, the outcome of the dependents grant and that is it. Nothing in Spam or Junk either. I am in my 6th-7th week of waiting for an outcome and will be very disappointed if all along it was a NMT application, as opposed to MT, as I will have to wait another long time to get it sorted. I believe I submitted the information correctly @Leah SLC

It was the PN1 paper Form. I got the email of receipt on 5th July and evidence was submitted by 7th July. I am studying full time from September 24. Thanks @Leah SLC

Hi there. It may be the case that we require the NMT to MT form along with the PFF2 form, if you indicted on your application that you did not want to be assessed using household income then we require this. When was the PFF2 (Income details) form provided, or was this done online? Thanks, David

Hi @David SLC I did not complete the PFF2 form as I input my husbands details and submitted my marriage certificate. He also put in his NI number. We did a paper application PN1 form and I do not remember seeing anything about a PFF2 Form. We filled out all the details in the Partners details in the PN1 form.

I received no further correspondence telling me I needed to submit either of these forms. I have entered my 6th week of waiting so was tracking my application to spot any changes and the message came up

Hi there. If the details were provided online that is fine, we would not then require the PFF2 form. However, if you have provided these details but still been assessed for only the reduced amount of the loan, it may be the case that we require the NMT to MT form. To check this, I would advise calling us or contacting us via live chat so that we can review your account. Thanks again, David
