How long does it take for a university to respond clearing

How long will it take for a university to give an offer through clearing, I have done this for pharmacy, and I have not received anything back from the university, they have given me a reference code only, how long will it take?

Have you received a verbal offer from the university? You will be able to add the course to UCAS at 1pm.

Trying to get the full picture :hugs:
Did you add them as a choice? We're you given an informal offer over the phone or email?

You could email/phone them back up to find out when you can expect to hear back from them. They may be currently busy with a huge volume of applications, so it may take a bit of time

Edit: please see above, you can add them from 1pm onwards

I keep on forgetting this
I keep on forgetting this

I called them, gave them my details and grades, and they said they would contact me later on in the day and that the pharmacy team would be processing the application, and they gave me a reference code

I see, keep an eye on your phone if they will get back in touch with you. Best of luck! We're rooting for you!! :jumphug:

Reminder: you need an informal offer from them before you add them as a choice through clearing on UCAS

Hi there @metricmetric!

I hope that your results day has gone amazing and as well as you could hope for. I thought it would be worth commenting on your post in the aim to provide you with some assistance.

When it comes to clearing, most Universities tend to deal with queries as soon as possible. If you have emailed the University then they should typically include the time it takes to respond to a need on the basis of working days. If you have also received a code then it may be worth calling up the university in question with the code and directly inquiring to a member of the team. By doing this, they could perhaps check on their system for you and let you know the time it could take for you to get an offer, or maybe even give you one there!

I hope this helps,

Brandon

Why is that important because as long as you got an email confirmation you’re in no?

The thread starter here hasn’t gotten an offer, they’re waiting to hear back from the uni.
