Anyone Studying at Sofia in Bulgaria

My son is thinking of applying for Dentistry - he didn’t get the minimum CC he needed in Chemistry and Biology for Plovdiv (he did really well in the entrance exams) and is instead applying to study in Sofia. Anyone studying dentistry there currently?

Hi thanks for the mention @Exogenous234 . Dear @InTheDarkNow im sorry to hear about your sons grades, but don’t lose hope, there is light at the end of every tunnel. I’m not actually 100% sure about Sofia’s minimum grades as they raise it each year do to popular demand. I will do some research and get back to you !

I understand that Sofia look at GCSE results only and have to do well in the entrance exam.
Wondered if anyone was studying Dentistry in Sofia and what the course was like?
Do students have to find their own patients? Do they get enough clinic time?

If you can afford 13k euros a year for tuition you still have Slovakia as an option - upjs is the uni and I myself go there

No idea unfortunately but you could call them to ask and find out. Feel free to update us when you do. But generally I'm just saying that there are better options out there in EU for dentistry especially

"As a parent, I was initially overwhelmed by the thought of helping my daughter apply for a dental program abroad. We explored many agencies, but most were either too expensive or didn’t offer the personalized attention we needed. Then we found Compass Studies, and it was the best decision we made. Maybe you can ask them
