Clearing choice

Hi
How do you add a clearing choice on UCAS?
My firm has counter-offered me which I want to reject and my insurance have still not got back to me which I will also reject. MMU offered me a course on the phone and they have sent an email with the offer. I’m going on the link they have sent and it sends me to UCAS hub. I’ve tried through a website link and it takes me to my application and when I scroll down to the bottom where it says my choices, nothing comes up.

Have your firm confirmed your place this morning?

If so, there should be an option to Decline My Place this is a permanent decision that can't be undone, but if you're certain and you've had a verbal offer from MMU, you can click the button, release yourself into Clearing and add MMU as a new choice!

Ok, this is a bit complicated but you need to:

1) Decline your offer of a course change from your firm uni
2) See what the status of your insurance is after you've done that
3a) If doing that confirms your place at your insurance choice, decline that place as well to put yourself into Clearing, or
3b) If you're still pending at the insurance, contact them and ask them to reject you into Clearing so you can add MMU

If you've been offered a foundation year by your firm, there should be an option to accept or refuse the change???

Having same problem here. First choice declined me. 2nd option still pending but I want to decline and make a new choice via clearing. I have spoken to the clearing choice and they have sent an email. I am managing to see the course and selecting it but I am getting no confirmation. The old choices are still showing.

Huh. I would suggest ringing UCAS and tell them you can't reject your offer.

No. Can you take a screenshot of what you are seeing on your UCAS hub (remove personal details)?

I'm not familiar with the app - if you hang on a minute, I'll see if I can get someone to help who is.
