Durham accommodation

I applied for college student accommodation for first year before the deadline in July but haven't heard anything since? How do I find out about my accommodation and when it's time to move etc?

Have you checked your junk/spam email folders? You could have had something go into there!

Otherwise I will tag in @Lemur14 who may be able to advise when to expect anything!

sorry that thanks at the end sounds sarcastic but its not lol
On the website it says that accommodation offers will be given out from the end of August
Accommodation offers will come out after colleges are confirmed.
Accommodation should be out by the 6th of Sept!
Hey! I'd keep an eye on your inbox but if you are looking to secure accommodation elsewhere over the coming few days to get it ticked off your list, I recommend Chapel Heights in Durham 🙂

Law!
I received the accommodation form to give preferences this afternoon. It needs to be completed by the 20th August and I will get the room details shortly afterwards as they need to be confirmed and a deposit paid by late August.

My allocated college is St John’s and will be studying History.

I think I already put my preferences on the original form from June/July
I did too. These were about dietary requirements, whether there were any good reasons why you could not share room and if not some info about yourself to help select potential roommates if necessary.

I haven't received any email like this 😩 makes me anxious that I'm gonna miss out on accommodation even though I definitely filled out the form before the deadline

Heya,

Don't worry about it as different colleges send out confirmations and room preference forms at different times. You've done your part in filling the accommodation form by the deadline- the rest is the uni's responsibility
