At most unis the policy will say 1 thing and what you can get away with is a different matter. Having someone else stay in your room is usually fine. If they are becoming a permanent feature that tends to be a bit more fishy.

tysm for the reply!! i cant find anywhere on the loughborough website a policy about it, i saw in another forum that they used to have a faq but its been deleted and yes its not permanent just for a few nights such as a weekend!

It'll be in the small print of your accommodation contract when you are given one Make sure to save a copy

I read you can have guests for up to 2 nights a week in the small print of Loughborough halls, and need to register that they are staying
