Warwick Email Address and Connecting With People

Hi,

I will be coming to study at Warwick in September and I’m a deferred entry student. I was wondering if the email addresses were given already and also I would be happy to connect with people starting in September too.

Are there any groups or anything for freshers etc?

You normally get a login after enrolling at the University on Fresher's week. Check your email for details about this, normally this comes through a few days - 1 week after results day.

Thanks for the reply. I thought so myself about getting the email during Fresher’s week, but thought it could be different for gap year students as I technically got in last August.

I haven’t joined any groups yet but I’ve seen people talk here about groups etc. I remember from last year there was a Disc ord group for Freshers 2023 but nothing this year.

What course are you doing?

Oh I see, loads of people online keep saying there's group chats so I got a bit worried.

I'm not sure I'm going to Warwick too in September but I haven't received anything yet.

I’m joining in September from a gap year too for politics and sociology, on Instagram the student Union has a channel that you can join for freshers and I’ve also seen/joined group chats for some societies through their separate insta pages
