Retake A Level physics or do further maths a level in gap year

Just got my results and got an A in both maths and chemistry but a D in physics. I dont like physics and would prefer to do further maths instead but as i didnt take further maths in sixth form and would be a completely new a level i would think that retaking a level physics would be an easier option. But i am extremely unsure what to do in this situation and would like some advice.
I have no clue too bro I got physics B, CS B, further math B and math A*. My firm choice just rejected me and i know i'm over ... My plan right now is just go to my insurance. But I'm not sure if it worth retaking physics, cs and fm cuz i might do worse next year...

How are you planning to do further maths/retake physics?

If you are planning on taking an extra year in sixth form (which sometimes is allowed), you would need to do both and maybe something else on the side to make up the minimum required number of guided learning hours.

If you are planning on studying as a private candidate, taking FM would be my recommendation as resits don’t look too good and it would make sense to do something you enjoy more. I would recommend going for the Edexcel course if possible as it has the most free online resources and many optional papers to choose from (so there are many, many ways you can avoid having to do more mechanics, since physics isn’t enjoyable).
