Medicine with BCC?

I got BCC, can i get into medicine? Any unies that will take BCC like foundation year course. I got C in both chem and bio

Plymouth accept resits for their foundation year if you score BBB in your resit. See: https://www.plymouth.ac.uk/courses/undergraduate/bmbs-bachelor-of-medicine-bachelor-of-surgery-with-foundation-year-0/entry-requirements

Unfortunately, all of the unis that offer foundation courses for medicine will ask for at least Bs in your Chem and/or Bio.

Two of my friends got BCC and didn’t get into medicine so they’re planning to resit, maybe consider resitting who knows you may do so much better and get offers from really good unis!

Unfortunately this is one of those rare times on results day where I say that I don't think you're going to be successful with this. Have you spoken to your school about these results?

The only realistic option I can think of is potentially study abroad, or studying another STEM degree and doing graduate entry medicine in four years, after your first degree

Hi there, I was in your exact position last year and missed my offer too. I decided to resit the two C's and apply for medicine foundation courses alongside the UCAT. This year, I've managed to get in, its definitely possible but it can be a challenging experience.

Hi there, yes I resat two of my a levels in biology and chemistry. In which, I reapplied for the foundation med course :smile:

No I reapplied with 3x B's for the medicine with foundation year but retook the two c's. Hope that explains

i hate when people make this argument. like the person's 17/18? their decisions now do not reflect their lifelong academic ability.
