Biomedical Science P/T exception?

Can anyone advise if Biomedical Science part time study is an exception course? I have been offered a place at MMU full time but working around it will be difficult. Salford University have clearing for the part time course which would definitely be better if funding is available. TIA 😊

That is also an eligible course and is an exception to previous study and equal level qualification rules.

Could you confirm if Biomedical Science full time at the University of Salford would be an exception course? I have checked the HCPC website and Biomedical Science isn't showing for Salford! TIA 😊

Hi there. No sorry, for Full Time this is not considered an exception course. This only applies to the Part Time funding. Thanks, David

Hi Clare,

I have just received notification from SFE that the full time biomedical science course at MMU is not an exception course. Can you advise if there is anything I can do as I applied for this course based on the information provided that it was funded. I may still be able to enter the part time biomedical science course at Salford University, is this definitely an exception course?

HI Calum,

I've literally just got off the phone with SFE and they have said that even part time Biomedical Science is not an exception course. Before I go ahead with any further applications can you confirm that it is an exception course and whether SFE are incorrect in saying it isn't?
