I applied late for uni of kent accommodation. when will i know if i get it or not?

so basically i applied late for the accomodation - it was my insurance and i didnt realise i had to apply. i applied about 3 week ago. i was wondering when i would know if im accepted or not, or and if i get a place. thank u!
Hey @incoming-atmosph,

I hope you're keeping well. 🙂
Thanks for reaching out.

I believe we are still guaranteeing accommodation today, so your best bet would probably be to call in. It would probably be best to just call the clearing number in the first instance, which you can call at +44 (0)1227 768896, and just explain your situation. But can also message our accommodation department at [email protected] or call up at 01227 766660.

You should hopefully know if you have been accepted into Kent by today as it's Results Day, however as for the specifics regarding accommodation placements, this process will begin today and from Mid-Late August, so expect to recieve an email regarding placements and inductions within the coming days..

Warm regards,

David 🙂

Same I applied for accommodation today and I’m stressed whether I’ll get accepted into accommodation or not. I applied late because I was sorting out support I can get medically

Hi,
I hope you are well!😊

I have been in touch with the university for you and have been told that you will receive official confirmation regarding your accommodation after results day when students are being allocated accommodation.

My best advice would be to keep an eye out on your emails after results day and contact our friendly accommodation team if you have any questions or worries about accommodation or the medical adjustments/support you can receive🙂 As you said you have applied a little bit late, I would contact the accommodation team and let them know about your situation and they will be able to advise you in the best way😊 You can find contact details for the Accommodation Team here.

While I have not lived in campus accommodation, I have a long term health condition and I have had such good support from the Student Support and Wellbeing team during my studies. I have had an Inclusive Learning Plan (ILP) set up for me during my studies to support me in the best way possible through adjustments, so I would advise you to register with them (using the link above if you haven't already!) and get in touch with them at the start of your studies to see which support might be available, and throughout your studies if you have any concerns😊

Let me know if you have any questions😊

Best wishes,
Josie
