If you are below the entry requirements for Unis like UCL and KCL, its almost certain that you wont get an offer. They get bonkers levels of applications, and every year thousands of people who meet or even exceed the required grades, get rejected.
AND - for Pharmacy it doesnt actually matter which Uni you go to. All MPharm courses are essentially equal - they all have the same set syllabus, and they are all accredited by the GPhC. The NHS is not going to ask 'which Uni' and neither will your future patients. You are a qualified Pharmacist - that is all that matters. When was the last time you asked a doctor, dentist or pharmacist where they trained - you didnt, because its irrelevant the care you get from those professionals.
In contrast to the mayhem of KCL etc, for Unis like Nottingham, Bath, Cardiff etc, if you are within a grade of the entry requirements and have written a sensible PS, you will almost certainly get an interview for MPharm. And, you wont pay as much for accommodation and living expenses as living in London.
