Transferring Campuses before september-Portsmouth London

Hi so ive recently been offered a place at Portsmouth London and i wanted to ask if it would be possible to switch to the other campus with the same course?

You'd need to ring up the university and ask them, this isn't something I'd be able to tell without a crystal ball! :wink:

It will really depend on whether there is space on the other campus, for your course

I just called up, they've said theyd have to cancel my application and make a new one, then theyve said it will have to be looked at again so now there a chance i may get rejected again😬 (but im not completely sure if my other offer is now void)

Hi 👋 congratulations on being offered your place. I know you've already spoken to us on the phone about this, but I think it would be good for you to do the self-apply form and then if you get a place on the Portsmouth campus you can decline the London course for it. It's just an added layer of security for you.

Out of interest, what course have you been offered for our London Campus? and was that offered to you through clearing?

I know that you've already called us, but I'd also recommend that you do a self-apply form anyway. Then you can see if you're accepted onto the course in Portsmouth and you can decline the London Campus course. It's just an added layer of extra security for you.

Out of interest, what course have you received an offer for? and was it secured through clearing?

I've got a response now in which theyve offered a place at the other campus as well, this was through clearing for comp sci, however they are aware of my grades and its below the entry requirements is it still possible for them to somehow reject me?

Ive been offered another place at the other portsmouth campus for comp sci through clearing, but my grades were nowhere near the typical offer and theyre aware of this, so im confused as to whether or not i can get rejected if they already know my grades and have been given an offer

Can I just get the chain of events right?
- you got a place at Portsmouth at their London campus for Computer Science
- you rang up Portsmouth to ask to switch to the Portsmouth campus
- Portsmouth have cancelled your application and told you to make another one, and said you might be rejected

Is that right? Have I missed anything?

I'm so glad it's all sorted for you.

Just for clarity - if you were offered a place in Clearing we won't retract it. When you called, you'd have given us your grades and we put that into the system which tells you if you're eligible for the course or not. If you weren't eligible we wouldn't have offered it at that point, but as you were offered it - we wouldn't retract it later on! I appreciate that it is slightly more confusing as you switched campuses though!
