is it likely to get into pharmacy after this course? I’ve been told you can get in if you get a certain percentage after the 2 years in an exam, but is it really difficult? or is it doable?

Hi there,

It is doable, this course is designed to set students up for success but of course it's up to the individual students to study and learn the materials too. To join Year 2 of Pharmacy MPharm, you need to achieve an average mark of 50% overall across all modules at each level and pass the calculations test and OSCE . In 2023, the pass rate for all applicants taking the OSCE was 76%.

I would recommend emailing the course leader or other contacts listed on the course page here: https://www.kingston.ac.uk/undergraduate/courses/pharmaceutical-chemical-sciences/

They should be able to answer your questions about the exams and requirements 🙂 Hope this helps!
