How long for a university to confirm clearing place on UCAS?

How long does it usually take for a university to confirm the clearing choice on UCAS.
Im a bit nervous as i haven't applied for student finance ( had no offers before and was planning on taking a gap year but recieved an offer) and need to sort out student accomodation (i dint have a place to stay without the uni confirming)

I think the best thing to do in your situation is to get in contact with the university that has given you an offer. They will be in the best position to advise you on what to do next and the timelines that they operate on. I hope this helps!

Once you have entered your Clearing choice onto UCAS it will be sent to that Uni overnight tonight.

They will, hopefully, process it tomorrow and send that decision to UCAS, and then you should be able to see the confirmation of a definite place later in the day or the next morning. If it isnt all wrapped up by Monday am then you need to call the Uni to find out what going on.
