If people got rejected from a university, does this open up accommodation.

Bit of an odd question, but I was wondering if this frees up some accommodation.

If the accommodation was already allocated to people (for example everyone who had firmed had been given their accommodation offers) then yes people getting rejected may free up some accommodation
If a uni guarantees accommodate to anyone who applies by a certain date but does not allocate it prior to results day then people getting rejected doesn't free up accommodation.
So depends on the allocation system unfortunately

Alright thank you, this is as I've been struggling to get accommodation for a while now and was wondering if there's any availability.

There certainly may be - you'd have to contact the accommodation providers to find out
