Student Life in Edinburgh

Plzzzz tell me about life in Edinburgh as a student. I’ve heard it’s quite depressing like I know it’s really beautiful but what about living there as students who’re looking for a lively place with good clubs and socializing events. I’ve got an offer from Edinburgh as well as Durham and I’m really confused.

Hi

Edinburgh resident who studied at local university. I done two degrees in my own city of Edinburgh with the recent one being me qualifying as a registered nurse ( summer 2023 ) .

As a student you have to try and make the best of the situation in Edinburgh.
Everybody has there own opinion about life as a student especially if living in accommodation,.

Yes Edinburgh is a vibrant place to live and work as a student especially during the month of August when you have the famous Edinburgh military tattoo and festivals on.

Edinburgh has plenty of clubs, restaurants etc that are good for students.
You'll get a lot of information about this from the university accommodation as students has plenty of places to go to.

Definitely recommend Edinburgh as a student living there.
