Im so stuck please advice

I got a D in my national 5 maths (last year in school) (did Nat 5 in one year instead over 2) my teacher said sitting higher will be really difficult for me. ALTHOUGH IM READY TO WORK REALLY HARD EVEN GET TUTORS should I take higher???? And make them put me in a higher class or what

I would say go for it you have the Nat 5 knowledge where as I didn’t, it’s a lot of hard work I crashed it I only did nat 5 apps instead of Nat 5 and passed higher well but be prepared to work really hard cause it isn’t easy.

I got a c in n5 and a b in higher you can defo pass with a week foundation but u will struggle a decent bit, and not having a good foundation will go with you if u take ah

Thank you for replying!!! I’m just scared cause if I got a D at Nat 5 then higher is looking tough but I’m ready to put in the work if it makes anything better

maybe spend a bit of time over the weeks leading up to school starting working on issues that u had in the n5 course, did u struggle with algebra or trig or whatever and work on fixing your issues, with higher its quite a lot of patterns so just doing a shear amount of questions will yield great results, good luck!
