Oxford Brookes Parade Green

I’m joking Brooke’s in September and was just assigned Parade Green as my accommodation. It wasn’t my first choice because of how far away it is from Headington campus and Cheyne. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions should I see how it goes or re apply?

What is your main issue with Parade Green?

Is it just the distance?

Yes it’s just distance from headington and cheyne I’ve also been told the buses aren’t always reliable and don’t run as often but I don’t know if that’s true

Half hour walk, 10 min cycle - it's definitely commutable

Is it hilly?
Hi,

Thank you for the enquiry.

Parade Green and Paul Kent (right opposite each other) are highly sought-after accommodations among Brookes students, conveniently situated with bus stops right outside. These buses run approximately every 10 minutes, providing direct drop-offs at the university. BrookesKey is available to all Brookes students upon purchase, and it automatically extends each academic year. For more information about BrookesKey, please visit this link.

I hope this has answered your query. if you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
