Mature Students University of Birmingham

Hi, this is an awfully niche post, but I’m 21 and I’m going to be starting the Geography BA at the University of Birmingham this September. I did start elsewhere at university at 18, but for several reasons, decided not to continue and apparently I’ve put off applying for 2 years already. Just feeling a little insecure and I KNOW it’s silly, but if there are any other students starting around this age or older, perhaps it’ll make us all feel better/ we can connect haha.

Hi, maybe this will help you feel better. I have a daughter older than yourself and I am also starting University in September. Compared to me you really are a spring chicken. You are still so young, and young enough to follow your dreams and make them happen. Best of luck in Uni 😊
