resit or just deal with it?

I got my a level results back and i got BDD, i got into uni to study biomedical science with a foundation year but i really want to do medicine. when applying i couldnt get my teachers to predict me high enough to get to medical school so i only applied for biomed as i was running out of time to send my application and i hoped i could switch to medicine after the first year of biomed.

you need a minimum of BBB in a levels to be able to switch and i didnt get that so now i have to do 4 years of course i dont even like. I was thinking of resitting but i would need to my UCAT with only a month to revise. and if i do bad in my ucat again ( i got 2300 b1 last time) where could i apply to?

im so stressed right now cause i want to go to uni but i also dont want to waste 4 years of my life on something i know i'll hate.
does anyone have any gap year success stories to share to make me feel better? or any advice on what i should do?
dont do biomedical science bc thats just 4 years of ur life doing smth u dont even want to do i think if u put ur mind to it u could do ur UCAT again but i swear itll be hard to book an exam date (im going into y13 and there was no dates left for UCAT) i think take a gap year and resit

Do you know where you went wrong at A level?
Did you put the work in?Same with UKAT can you do better or is it actually beyond your capabilities.
If you think you did not give it your all this time then resit and do better .If you have done your best it is time for a rethink and reality check.
Maybe you could look at being a paramedic, nurse or something else entirely.Do not spend 4 yrs getting into debt on a course you don't even want to do.I took two gap years worked various jobs and eventually worked out after volunteering that I wanted to teach.Never even considered it at 18.
There is no real rush another year will fly by.

You can't go to medicine if you've sat your a levels twice

I checked and there is a few universities which allow resits.
Absolutely don't do biomed if you know you would not enjoy it.
However, it is telling that your teachers would not raise your predicted grades, which suggests to me that your final grades are not entirely a surprise. Working hard is not enough, its working efficiently.
So I think you do need to take a gap year and really think about what it is you want from medicine, what your options are and what is realistic. And what support you need to get there.
Can you make an appointment with a careers officer?
