Pharmacy not enough extracurricular

Hi I’m looking to apply for pharmacy to go in 2025 (hoping for nottingham)and I’m going into y13, I don’t know if I have enogh extracurricular.
I only currently have a week of work experience from a pharmacy.
Is it too late now to get enough, or is my current amount fine?
I’m just really stressed that I won’t be able to even get an interview.
i’m planning on doing pharmacy and tbh i think what you have is fine, there’s online courses etc and if you do want more it’s deffo not too late if you want to do more
you can read articles / moocs but 1 week's experience is really good! applied for pharmacy this year and got into ucl. if you have any questions you can ask x

thank you!! I did a week work experience at a hospital, read a few articles which I briefly mentioned in my ps, and I did volunteering at my school, tutoring and I was head girl 🙂

Hi @Aaaegg
We hope you do apply for us!

In terms of extracurriculars they are absolutely not essential, and do not affect your chance at being offered an interview (grades are the decider for an interview). During the interview however they will ask about your interest in pharmacy and this would be a good chance to talk about the experience you do have, but I wouldn’t stress about getting anymore. However if it is something that you enjoy and can organise easily it definitely wouldn’t harm your application.

Hope this helps,

Dom
