I got 238 and the A boundary is 240, I feel like I was robbed because I felt like I wrote good stuff on each paper, and I wrote on extra paper for all. Is there a chance they missed a page or missed counting up the marks? Because I was predicted A* all throughout. But I have gotten into my firm university so is it still worth getting this done? The threshold for B is 209 and I got 238, so it's highly unlikely it would go down a grade. Guys, thoughts?
I got ABB and A in EPQ and my offer for my firm ws exactly ABB, so there is no harm in getting a review or marking or a re-check, is there? As it's unlikely it'll go down? However my school, have said if I didn't request this on results day yesterday,, I have to wait till their start of term in September?.....👀
Do I have any other options, can I request a copy of my exam scripts and ask my geography teacher to look at them and see if it was fair or if they missed marks out?
Thank you.

Very very unlikely it’ll go down. If you think you should’ve got an A, then I would at least get the paper so teachers can see whether it’s worth getting a remark, and if they don’t advise it, then don’t.

Okay thank you, how do I go about this? Do I just email my exams officer and request my 'exam script' for all 3 papers to email to me and my geography teacher to check? I'm not certain if they will reply to me now, as they said if we didn't do it yesterday we'd have to wait till September start of term to deal with requests.

Yeah if I’m honest, you might not easily be able to do it now. Getting the paper takes a couple of days, so I would suggest at least trying to email your school to request that option. Then in September, once you’ve shown your paper to geography teachers, then you can proceed to request a remark or just leave it.

Hey @jojo257_ 👋

Firstly, congratulations on securing a place at your firm university and for getting those fantastic grades! You have done superbly!

It's completely up to you - you know that you have got into your firm university and so you don't necessary need to do this, but if you were predicted higher and it'll always be a "what if" in your head, then it's worth doing.

I believe that you can request a copy of your exam scripts yes and then your geography teacher can review it - this is usually the most convenient way to go about it. I'm not sure of the exact process you'd have to go through to do this, so I would start by contacting your school and asking how you'd go about doing it - they have probably had many cases similar and will hence be best placed to advise you on what to do next. You mentioned that you'll have to wait until the start of September now which is a shame, but I'd make contact as soon as possible regardless.

I understand how frustrating it can be to be just 2 marks off, but regardless of the outcome - you should be super proud of yourself!

I hope you are able to get clarity soon.

Hi,
The best option is definitely to email your school or teachers.
Your teachers will have experience on if they think the grade will go up or down and how long it may take the exam board.
Once you've taken their advice ultimately it's wether you personally think this is worth it.
Best of luck,

Okay, thank you so much. I have sent the email to my head of sixth form, exams officer and my geography teacher and asked for my exams script to be reviewed by my geography teacher and a possible remark if they felt I was robbed. Thank you, for your advice, I really needed this as I did not know what to do! 😓
