Does the student loans company (UK) support loans for studying art Therapy - possibly at Derby or Chester. I assume these loans can be taken just like regular masters courses, In order to study the MA in art Therapy. Thanks, Karl.

Hi Karl, what is the full name of the course and the university you wish to study at? Just to confirm have you studied a postgraduate course before? Thanks, Jason

Hi there, yes so there are two current options I'm interested in..

- MA Art Therapy, Derby University

-MA Art Therapy, Chester University

No I have not yet studied a postgrad course as I have just completed my undergrad.

Thanks! Karl.

Hi Karl. I have checked and both of these courses at both universities are available for our Postgraduate funding. I would advise applying for this as soon as possible online as these applications are taking around 6 weeks to be processed at the moment. Thanks, David

Hi there thank you thats great to hear! I'm planning to apply next year to begin Sept 2025. So that I can gain the necessary year of experience required in care/mental health required before interviewing. So I'll be applying next year thanks!

Hi David, do MA Art Therapy students get a loan per year, or do you just get one £12k loan to cover both years?
