1.
Create a Study Schedule: Plan your study sessions in advance and stick to a routine. Break down your study material into manageable chunks.
2.
Use Active Learning: Engage with the material by summarizing information, creating flashcards, or teaching the content to someone else.
3.
Take Regular Breaks: Use techniques like the Pomodoro Technique—study for 25 minutes, then take a 5-minute break. It helps keep your mind fresh and focused.
4.
Stay Organized: Keep your study space clutter-free and use tools like planners or apps to track deadlines and assignments.
5.
Practice Self-Care: Get enough sleep, eat well, and exercise regularly. A healthy body contributes to a sharp mind.

Find good locations for studying - I personally prefer cafes for writing essays and the library for studying for exams! Not sure why there is a difference but it works for me
•
Switch up your study methods - I tend to type up my notes during lectures / seminars, but when studying for an exam or planning my essays I try to do it by hand (I use an iPad but paper would also work) so that I'm processing the information in a different way.

Study snacks!!! I like a mix of healthy and unhealthy - carrots with humous or nuts, trail mix etc are great options. But don't be afraid to treat yourself to the occasional chocolate bar or pastry during exam season!
