I passed 5 out of 6 of my modules and the one I failed was a core module. I also failed my resit and am currently waiting for the decision from the board. I have a mean stage percentage of 49% across the year and have acquired 100 credits in total.
I am so stressed I want to know what’s going to happen next I can’t get withdrawn it’ll ruin everything for me. My university academic regulations states this below, will this work in my favour?
Where the stage mean has been achieved and 80 credits or more awarded, the PAB must seriously consider granting trailed credit in combination with compensated and/or condoned credit up to a maximum of 40 credits to enable the student to progress, thereby not imposing any undue delay in the achievement of the award aims. Exceptionally, where there is a Professional, Statutory and/or Regulatory Body (PSRB) requirement to achieve the pass threshold on all modules or where the PAB has significant concerns about the academic underpinning that could not be achieved through trailing credit, the PAB must offer a choice of temporary withdrawal with second resits or a repeat of the stage/semester. A clear minute must record the rationale in all cases where trailed credit has not been granted to enable progression.
