Advice on things to pack for University Halls:

First of all well done to all the A-Level students who received their results yesterday, you have done yourself proud!

Next month some of you will be going to university for the first time (how exciting!), it can be so overwhelming knowing what to pack, buy or bring to university halls. So here is a list of a few things we would recommend!:

For your kitchen:
- Colander
- Pasta bowls
- 3x Forks, Spoons, Knives
- 3 x Saucepans with lids
- Frying Pan/Wok
- 2 x Bowls
- Chopping Board
- Mugs
- Chopping knives
- Glasses
- Measuring Jug
- Cooking utensils e.g Spatulas
- Toaster (Check with your university halls some provide some don't)

For bathroom;
- Personal shower stuff
- Shower caddy
- Bath mat
- 2x Towels
- Toilet roll
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
- Toothbrush holder
- Bathroom bin with lid
- Air freshener
- Drain unblocker
- Bleach
- Bathroom spray (or anti-bac spray)


For bedroom:
- Duvet
- Blanket
- Pillows
- Bedding Covers
- Desk Fan
- Decorations such as pictures of family, friends or mood lighting.
- Laptop

Miscellaneous:
- Chargers for electronics
- Accommodation papers
- Important papers for example ID
- Cleaning Supplies
- Airer for clothes
- Electronics such as hairdryer straighteners
- Stationary
- Extension cords: But check your university halls; they are happy to use these.
