University of Southampton Accommodation Offers

hi, i was just wondering how accommodation offers work with university of southampton.
i know they'll be sent out anytime from results day onwards according to the website, but will i get an email or do i just have to keep checking the portal? and is it really anytime from results day or something like anytime from monday 19th (i read that somewhere on here)?
also, if i've done everything on the welcome page like enrolling, applying for my student id card, creating my IT account, etc, will that mean they send my offer quicker or does that not affect it?

You should receive an email confirming your accommodation allocation if you have applied for university accommodation. This may take some time while the team sort through the applications from clearing students as well as those cancelling as they have decided to go to a a different university so please be patient with us. It is unlikely that completing the onboarding tasks quickly will sppeed up this process as each thing is handled by a different teams.

Hi, I have been accepted through clearing, however I have not received a Student ID therefore I can't book any accomodation, what should I do?

HI, I have received my offer for an ensuite enhanced plus room in Glen Eyre, when will I found out which Hall at Glen Eyre I have been allocated? Thank you

Hi,
The specifics of your exact room will be given to you on move-in day. When you arrive, you'll be directed to get your key(s) (This may be a fob instead of a physical key). When you collect your key, you will also be told what block, flat and room you are in. Your key should be in an envelope with this information on it as well.
