Anthropology and Jobs

Hi, I’ve just got my A level results which have set me up pretty badly for type of uni (ABBB) if I wanted to study Anthropology. I might be getting one of the Bs reviewed (2marks off an A) I’m still arguing with my mum about studying Anthropology for undergraduate which she says is not viable enough unless I’m studying at a top university like Oxford or UCL and my grades won’t get me there now. So I was wondering how an undergrad in Anthropology gets people into careers and the ease of that. I’m specifically looking at Queens Belfast uni, and if the Universities themselves help with job applications for undergraduates. It’s one thing reading articles about it but it would be great if I could see personal stories about jobs and Anthropology undergraduates

Oxford make zero difference unless it is Law and whatnot. A degree is not worth the paper it is printed on without work experience. You could probably get into Durham with those grades, although the course was only 8 hours or so contact time. Job wise, the UK is not great for anthropology, but you should look at vacancies through google I guess.
