I received b b d in my a-levels so did not get into my UCAS choices to study economics at a Russell group university.
I am currently trying to go through clearing, may someone guide me on what decision to make?
swansea is ranked higher but the economics course as far as I can see isn't accredited to the same degree as the other 2 .
Moreover, the graduate salaries at Swansea seem to be higher than the other 2 Swansea is also a bit closer to home, unlike the rest.
is there anything massive im missing out on in terms of decisions?

Hi @songbot2019 I hope all is well.

If you want to chat further about Economics course options and content at Swansea Uni, feel free to give us a call on 0808 175 3071. We have places available in Clearing and we're also open for visits from today, and every day until next Tuesday 1000 to 1600. https://www.swansea.ac.uk/clearing/events/

It depends what's important you - Reading and Nottingham Trent will be good choices but the location will be very different. Swansea is awesome if you like being right on the coast, beautiful beaches and a great sports and social calendar too. Vibrant art and music scene, culture...lots and lots of bars, clubs and restaurants. A really big student population, amazingly diverse, with a lovely community too.

I would also recommend looking at the course content in detail https://www.swansea.ac.uk/undergraduate/courses/social-sciences/economics/. You will have similarities between Unis when it comes to the core elements of micro and macro economics, as well as the more technical mathematical and analytical elements...but maybe Swansea's optional choices could interest you more than the others?

Let me know if you need help with anything else. Many thanks, Gethin (Future Students Team).
