Mental health social anxiety

Hi,

I've struggled with my mental health this past year, and I overcome my social anxiety. However being so shy, I have come incredibly far, but I still way for improvement I know that my shyness doesn't define me but going into new jobs... It scared me. Does anyone have any advise, I'm an introvert I find new places, putting myself out there sort uncomfortable I do know I can do it but I guess I'm asking for any advise from others maybe who struggled with similar?
Hi There

We hear that you have been living with social anxiety over the past year and you are scared in case your shyness defines you going into new jobs. It is a great reflection that you acknowledge how incredibly far you have come.

We would recommend that you take a look at Anxiety UK and Mind who have some really good information and resources on their websites. It is important that you are continuing to look after yourself especially when you are looking to move into a new job and self-care is a great way to do this.

You should be really proud of yourself for being so open and honest about this. If this is leading to you having any thoughts of suicide then please reach out to Hopeline247 on 0800 068 4141 or Text on 88247 and a trained Suicide Prevention Adviser will speak to you and offer advice and support 💜
