Liverpool foundation year transfer

I just got accepted into Liverpool university for computer science to take a foundation year and was wondering if I am able to switch unis after the foundation year if i didn’t like it. I’d preferably like Manchester but am also researching other options. If so, when and how would I have to apply and I only have 2 alevels so would that matter?
Thank you!!

Hey @hello746 👋

I assume that you have already contacted Manchester through their clearing hotline to see if they have any places available?

They are asking about transferring after having completed a Foundation year.

Contact Manchester and ask about this - but remember that Foundation years are not a formal 'qualification' and are often not accepted by other Universities. Even if they do accept this Foundation, they will want high grades so it isnt an easy back-door option.

Hi

Generally, this is possible and some universities do accept this, however, it is best to check with the university that you would look to switch to, to see if they would offer this.

I hope this helps,
