Hi, I got my 10th choice for accommodation and it's genuinely quite far from what I want. I applied before the deadline and there's options I didn't apply for that I would probably prefer now. This is probably the first thing that's quite changing my enthusiasm about going a lot.
Is there anything I can do to change and is there likely to be space anywhere?

Hi,
I had a similar problem but if you have a valid reason for needing a switch you could probably talk to Residences about it and specify the problems you have with your accommodation. Their email is [email protected].
I ended up looking for private accommodations on websites like mystudenthalls and Unite, and I just signed my contract with Unite for my 1st year today.

Hi there,
As said above, I recommend emailing [email protected]. Let them know of your reasoning and problems with your allocated accommodation. Also, mention with the others that you might prefer. They try their best but it's not always possible to make it work for everyone. Can I ask which accommodation you've been allocated?
