Private Candidate Application

I'm taking a gap year and plan to apply to universities this year in 2025, however I'm also completing another A-level within that time and taking the exams in 2025 as well. I have two B grades already achieved and will have a predicted grade for biology that I can apply with being A/A* (in one of my a levels the grade I received is not something I want to apply with). If for instance I was to apply to a uni with grade requirements being AAB, and I have 2 achieved Bs and a predicted grade of A/A*, am I still likely to receive an offer? I need to know as the uni I want to go to is AAB and I don't want to risk applying for so many when I'll be rejected straight away because I'm just under the entry requirements.

If the answer varies across different universities then please let me know which ones are more lenient when handing out offers!!

You dont meet the entry requirements - and you still wont if you only resit 1 subject.
You can try emailing the Uni and asking if they might accept you but they will probably be very vague in response and not give you any guarantees. so, you can either resit 2 subjects, or risk rejection.
