Student Halls at Leeds

im wondering if its cheaper to live in student accom insteaad of travelling bakc and forth each day to get to uni,,,
i havent really looked into any accomadations or halls in leeds though becasue it was my insurance and i didnt think i was getting in, does anyone know of any places or anything please..

Hi, i also live within a commutable distance to the uni of leeds, but i have decided to move there. Due to basing it off of my maintenance loan there vs at home, it’s going to cost me a lot more. However, I am also going for the social aspect of Uni. My accom is working out £8027. However, there are cheaper ones at around £6k, but there’s some pros such as shared bathrooms and further away.

Consider these things:
-Is the social life important and would it be cheaper for you to live closer rather than getting taxis home.
-How much will commuting be
-How much you will have if you’re living at home vs uni (if you are entitled to maintenance loan)
-Is it worth it
