I got a place there but I’m not sure if i should accept it as I haven’t seen it on any open days. Do you know anything about it and if it’s worth staying there, considering I’m starting med school this year

oh nice I'm doing med aswell. what flat did u get ?
I honestly don't know much about it apart from where it is - ddi want the block facing the lake which victory isn't apart from that I'm pretty sure all en suit campus are in the same area. I don't really see why to decline it unless u didn't want en suit campus plus - plus its a risk as you might get an accomplished type you didn't want.

I am in flat 05. I think I will accept the offer because I can’t really risk not having an accomodation and either way I’m pleased with my room. On unibuddy I found a groupchat with people staying at the victory house also starting this year. If you want you can give me your insta and I will add you. There are a few people doing medicine as well.

yeh that would be great if that's alr - I just got added to a gc for victory house tho so it could be the same one.

Hi @Lucaroze

Congratulations on all your hard work !

Whilst, I stayed in Colman house for my first year the layout is very similar to Victory house. You have your own en-suite which is really convenient and a single bed. The room also comes with a wardrobe and space under the bed for clothes and a lovely sized desk too! There also usually a pin board for students to place any pictures up as well 😊

In terms of kitchen, there is usually three big fridges and lots of cupboard spaces. For most med students I believe UEA aims to group other med students together. Everyone is super friendly and the welcoming, with the flat usually split with around 6-13 people . Victory house is also a short walk away from the laundrette and medical centre/ dentist too! The hospital is around a short 10 minute walk and there is a small Tescos not too far away as well!
