University of Nottingham year 1 engineering timetable

I was accepted onto my firm choice UoN for mechanical engineering and I live very far from the university however I think it is worth it to commute their instead of living in accommodation. Can someone send me photo or tell me roughly what it would look like of a year 1 timetable look like for engineering? Does not have to be mechanical engineering it could be aerospace etc... if you dont go to UoN but to a different uni still feel free to tell me what a year 1 timetable look like.

Hi @lionelmessi34!

I am an Aerospace Engineering student. In your first two years you may expect around 20 contact hours, so that means that you would need to come to university 3 or 4 times a week for those in-person sessions. I highly recommend attending them as they will certainly help you when it comes to revising for your assessments. The more time you spend with the lecture materials, the easier things will be.

It is hard to tell exactly how your timetable may look like as it really depends on the course. You may expect lectures
in the mornings, or the afternoons. However, you will be able to see your individual timetable from Friday 27 September 2024 on the web (Teaching Timetables Info.) and via the MyNottingham app.

I hope it helps,
Abian.
