Hi, so I've been looking at pharmacy courses at the University of Manchester and came across the MPharm with a foundation year. It has much lower entry requirements than the MPharm course, which I didn't expect as I thought having a foundation year would be a more desired course. I read the course description and it was implied that the course was basically for people who couldn't get onto the normal MPharm course. I know that to become a Pharmacist in the UK you have to complete a foundation year after Uni, so I was wondering why the MPharm with a foundation year seems like a less desired course. Is there another way to securing a foundation year somewhere that is more preferable to people?
