Using SME for Medicine

Hi everyone.

I just wanted to ask about peoples experiences using the company Study Medicine Europe or medlink to get into med schools abroad.

Has anyone used them to get into a 4 year medicine course in the Caribbean? If so, how was it? and what is the study like?

Thank you!

Hey,

I have used SME to get into medicine in `Europe` (Georgia) - Caribbean medical schools were not available at the time when I applied 5 years ago and now I'm in my final year (give or take) of medical school.

As a company, SME is a little pricey (I think I paid about 3 or 4k GBP) for their fees and services, but my experience of them sending my documentation (translating, etc) and getting me settled in Georgia was pretty hassle free from my end, and technically I can still call them if I have issues in Georgia at anytime.

If you are going to apply to Caribbean medical schools, make sure you do your research as they can be SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive (I pay about $5000-6000 per year, and the cheapest I see on SME website for Caribbean medical schools ranges from $8000 to $16000 per year.)

Also make sure the medical school you apply to is accepted in the country you wish to practice!

Good luck!

Hello, I used Medlink Students 1 year ago because I didn't have time before the deadline I wanted to apply as soon as possible. I was hesitant to apply through them since there were a lot of bad comments, but tbh after using their service I got accepted, they were different from what I saw and heard, and I knew some students who came here through them too.

BIG NO🤣to be honest I tried both of them firstly started with SME because I saw some recommend them here but after contacting them I regretted it bro. After what happened with them I spoke with an influencer on tiktok and she recommended medlink to me i was afraid to repeat the same mistake but tbh they helped me and look where I am now studying medicine in a good uni and i'm having all the fun here

Yes all they care is money money money. I refused to take what they offered I asked for refund they said they won’t refund me infact they force courses in your throat 😳sad. When I told them I won’t take what they offering they refused to refund my money and they kept emailing me more invoices to pay 🤣 just imagine. I did contact SME they have given me a good offer and I have start graduate medicine in carribean. They never force me for payment. They charge 1300£ first and after offer another 1300£. They respond to all my worries and questions

Sorry but I don't believe you, because me and my friends applied through medlink, and our experience was completely different. I'm not sure if you're sharing the full story, but based on what I've experienced, they weren't like that at all.
