I'm applying for Accounting and Finance
I've never done accounting or maths in a levels. I did BTEC business, got a 4 in maths in gcse. do you think i will be alight with maths in Accounting and Finance BSc? I was thinking that if it's too complicated I would take a gap year but I don't know what i would do after that.

Could you resit gcse maths? That would expand the number of courses you could apply to and give better preparation for the course. Aim for a grade 6 or better.

The accounting side doesn't have much maths at all
•
However the story may be different for finance depending on the uni
•
A lot of unis would want a GCSE Maths pass irrespective of the course, so check carefully
