Hi, i’m having a hard time finding the right accommodation. What’s the best en suite college that’s close walking distance or a short bus ride to the business building but also close to city centre? Also, do any of the colleges have en-suite rooms without the swimming pool looking showers? For example the images on the website of the showers for Bowland College doesn’t look like the one shown in the youtube video.

Hey!

It is understandable you are struggling to find the right accommodation especially since we have 9 colleges to choose from. All colleges offer ensuite rooms and are pretty close walkable distance to the locations you mentioned. The main colleges that are in the central campus are Bowland, Fylde and Furness which are all walkable distance to the Management building. Fylde and Grizedale college are the closest to Management building and to the bus stops which take you to the city centre. The city centre is a bit further from the campus and it takes 10-15 mins to get there by bus regardless of college.

And as far as I am aware, most of our showers do have the same design.

Ultimately the choice is yours to make as all colleges offer the same accommodation, just in different areas of the campus.

Grizedale ensuite and Fylde is say are pretty close to the management building. From the places ive seen on open day with daughter, and standard accommodations shes lived in (grizedale townhouse first year/ bowland standard summer accomodation) and they were fully walled and doors to the floor and not like the swimming pool type cubicles.
