university of birmingham freshers

hello all, if you’re reading this i’m assuming that you were accepted into the university of birmingham yesterday ! congrats to us all !

this is just a place for us to discuss ! i’m feeling very nervous and it’ll be better for me to know a few people before i start

what course are you doing, and how do you feel about joining uob? :smile:

i’m doing film and creative writing!! ngl bham was not my first choice but the course looks super cool and i’m excited to get there and meet people :smile:

wow that sounds fantastic and so interesting ! i’m doing liberal arts and sciences. i’m also excited, the campus looks like an amazing place to socialise :smile:

I'm doing Computer Science! I went to an offer-holder day back in March and I thought the campus looked great as well ^^ Probably something I'm looking forward to the most is exploring the city and living independently, as I'm not from Birmingham haha, and it seems pretty diverse culturally

i also went to an offer-holder day and i knew uob was the place for me aha. also computer science sounds cool, my brother is doing that :smile:

i’m going pharmacy. if i’m meeting honest im not sure about my course but im really excited to be going to uob! the campus is stunning and im hoping the uni has plenty to do

Im doing JMC starting in september does anyone know how to get into a gc or equiv. with people in the same accom? Im in belgrave view (everywhere else was full)
