Is this for a Clearing place?
Have you looked the two courses is detail, check the opportunities for work-experience/placements/study abroad etc, looked at the campus tour films or YouTube, etc.

Only you can decide this one.
Where will you feel happiest?

I have an offer from Surrey but I am reconsidering my decision as it is so expensive to live there and due to the fact I would have to do a foundation year first, whereas at Essex it is a little cheaper to live and with my grades I could get straight into year one.
Surrey is better for law, but if you don’t need to do a foundation year at Essex then go there

Hi,

Have you attended a open day or had a campus tour at either uni? That's normally a good way to figure out whether it's the uni for you, as you would get a chance to speak to current students and see the campus.

I think the halls are quite reasonably priced.
