Need help crafting a research proposal for Doctorate in Psychology

Hello. I have completed my Bachelor's in Psychology from Pakistan and plan on applying to a UK institute for a DCounsellingPsych program. So I'll add a little background for perspective as to why I need help. A Bachelor's in Pakistan, especially from a government university like the one that I graduated from does not really prepare you too well for research. Even though I conducted research along with a group of 4 other students and had it published as well, I still feel like I require assistance in order to craft a research proposal for the doctorate level. In our country, you have to go through a Master's in order to get a Doctorate, which bridges the gap. During the gap year time after my Bachelor's, I have dug into Research books to get a deeper understanding, I still feel like some personal assistance may elevate my proposal because that is the key to getting admission apart from other academic qualifications (which I am aware of and working on). My reasons for applying to the PsyD program are mainly acquiring a degree that fulfils the BPS and HCPC requirements plus funding. Emphasis on funding. I have thoroughly researched the Master's programs and I realize that professional Masters are really hard to get funding for. Hence, the decision to go for Doctorate directly. As the eldest sibling who always had to navigate everything on my own and learn from multiple trials and errors and not a lot of friends who happen to be in the same boat as mine, I have often felt pretty lost. I have lost a lot of time and now it is a resource that I am running short of. I utilize internet resources to the fullest, but what I have always lacked is some human assistance on a personal level. Which is why I am putting a request out here.

P.S: I am also open to any other better options (country-wise/ funding-wise/ program-wise), If anyone has any information on that. Just let me know.
When I was major student in English, they tried recruit me for a phd in psychology. There were two subjects that always lacked people. One of them was the history of psychology, and it was because i had strayed into this area during my literary studies that I was asked. But the other was the psychology of the elderly. The season I think was that was raised by my grandmother, and she lay incapacitated on her sofa for 20 years due to a bad back problem. (she was not a depressed woman, just so we clear that up. My mother was single parent and worked during the day. So she was around) We can never get anyone to study this, they told me.

But since you are Pakistani, you may want to focus on elements and problems that are culturally specific. Because that is also a huge gap in current knowledge.

Clinical psychology is a practitioner psychologist course and so it requires an accredited undergraduate degree or conversion course. It's not a traditional PhD and so you don't do a research proposal in the same way

Normal PhDs are often funded but don't meet the criteria for HCPC registration
