Hi. I agree that it is absolutely essential to apply strategically. Unfortunately the applications are so complex, and each med school admissions policies vary so much that asking about UCAT scores in this way is possibly going to be more confusing not make it clearer.

When you have your UCAT score, then put your info into the which med school Uberthread here - and somebody will be along to help. The advisors have been helping on the threads for a number of years and will know the practical implications of selection policies as well as UCAT cut off etc.

It’s best not to post on it until you have your UCAT score as people won’t be able to help until then, but you may find reading it of interest. It’s over 6000 posts long, and last years info is out of date, but you may find it interesting.

And I would add from this that the UCAT score helps with getting the interview. The interview performance gets the offer.
