If you don't feel prepared, it might be best to push the test back to give yourself more time. A thing to bear in mind pushing it back might lead to it clashing with college etc. and you're probably won't want to be busy with both.
As for preparing/improving, practice makes perfect. Spend time practicing your weaker sections in whichever way works for you, I'd recommend either one of the books or medify. After a few sessions of practicing, attempt another mock test to assess improvements and repeat.
You never know how your actual UCAT will go, mine was considerably better than my mocks. I'm sure you'll do fine. Good Luck.

My scores are similar to yours. I was thinking of pushing it back but now I’m just gonna go for it. I got mine on Sat. I would recommend working on what you think is easiest for you to do best on.

Same! My scores are very similar. Ucat is stressing me out sm. I would say keep practising and work mainly in QR as I can see it is your weakness. When is your ucat exam?

Hi! I did the ucat last year so hopefully can help. Obviously keep practicing individual subtests, but also remember, of you do really well in 2 and okay in 2, you’ll still end up with a good score! AR is one of the easiest to improve in my opinion, so practice recognising those patterns! If you have a book, this is a subtest it could be helpful, cause you just need to practice recognising patterns. With QR, my biggest piece of advise is practice mental maths- download an app on your phone. VR is harder to improve, but do as much speed reading practice as you can.
Keep working hard! I didnt see a lot of improvement in my overall score till the week before my exam.

im struggling sm too w ucat so we're on a same boat. its so discouraging when you get low scores (i get around 2380 for mocks RIPPP) and i was literally abt to give up but saw what you wrote and i was gonna tell you not to think like that, but that would be hypocritcal.

ykw? we can do this. we just need a morale boost and a plan. what methods have you tried for vr? could you consider getting a tutor? i did a couple of sessions yesterday and the day before - they helped w ideas to get better at vr, but its just me and i havent improved yet. idk for QR i literally take maths for a lelevl but ewwwwwwww ucat questions are soooo crap

anyways
1) how dependent are you on your calculator? try to do calculations i your head which are doable instead of wasting time fiddling w the calculator if thats too slow. my mental maths isnt great, so im practicing that. also look at the answer options before answering. you can cancel out some of the options or evenfind the right answer by just doing the sum with the unit digits (e.g. doing 2837 x 62 would have the last digit at a 4 bc 7 x 2 is 14, so you cancel out the answers without a four ending)

2) are you practicing on a ipad or a pc? pls practice on a pc i made the mistake of doing it on my ipad bc its easier

3) what have you tried for vr?

4) what section do you like to do the most? i like AR, so after doing your hardest one, do a bit of your favourite for a little dopamine boost instead of feeling lke ur constantly failing.

5) what reschedule dates are available? try not to have it too late bc it might clash w school, personal statement prep etc

for me whatever i try i just cant score high on vr - maybe im just not cut out for it so im gonna try see if improving another skill works

dont give up

My first question is when is your exam? To avoid potentially having to wait another year to retake the UCAT, I'd say push it back to mid-September/late-September to have more time to practice. I read some of the advice on the Official UCAT website saying to aim for 50 questions a day a month before your exam. So if you push it back to September then you have plenty of time to both go to school and practice effectively. Don't be discouraged just because you got really low scores. I read a person's experience saying they got terribly low on their first few mock tests and then after doing hours of practice questions a day before their exam, they eventually got in the top 20th decile. You'll be fine, trust me. Just work on your VR, DM, and either QR OR AR (either one is fine as if you do both you may stress yourself out, just rely on one of the two sections to boost your score). If you do enough revision from now till September, I'd say you could definitely push the 2600-2700 score.
