If you used Clearing in 2024, how did you find it?

ucl 2024 clearing

I’ve applied for a course at UCL via clearing, however I am one grade below the requirement. Is there any chance of me being offered a place before I get my hopes up :frown:

i think that you do have a chance depending on what the course is. however, they are probably more likely to accept those who meet or excel in their grade requirements even if you are the first to reply. im currently in the same boat with a humanities course. its a shame because if i was able to get a reduced offer or i was international i wouldn't have this issue.

what course exactly is it??? also good luck!!! you never know what could happen

how does that even happen???? are you a home or international student, because i feel like they definitely gave most of their spaces to internationals since this is more of a business for the uni

that's exactly how im feeling rn. ive tried being delusional but its all too real now. i haven't really come to terms with it but there's nothing really that we can do now. i think it hurts more knowing that i had accom for ucl and i literally planned out everything - from the societies i wanted to join to how i planned to spend my evenings and i put so much effort into my revision too. i swear if i lost a clearing opportunity because of an international student with lower grades than me i might explode!!!!!

i plan to spend today sorting out my student finance and getting back my deposit money from ucl for my accom. its heartbreaking honestly.

what uni do you plan to go to??? ive confirmed city university
