I wanted to ask if I did a foundation year at University of Salford in biomedical science a Bsc would It be possible for me to transfer to diagnostic radiography if I pass the foundation year?

Great question that comes with a tricky answer!

While there is a possibility of transferring to Year 1 of BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography after completing a foundation year, this is considered on a case-by-case basis and cannot be guaranteed.

If you’re interested in studying BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography but are unsure if you will meet the entry requirements, we recommend considering an Access Course and then applying directly to the course.

If u want to go into diagnostic radiography but don’t meet the requirements, you could go into a foundation year for radiography. Sheffield Hallam is an example of a uni that offers this course.

I’m not sure if you can use a biomedical science foundation year but I think it’s best to look for a foundation year in radiography. That way the knowledge you learn is more relevant.

The University of Salford does not offer Access to Higher Education qualifications, I would recommend giving it a google to find out your local institution that would offer this Level 3 qualification.
